How the First Choice Network Works
Under nib First Choice, you receive a fixed percentage back on treatment at a network dentist. The percentage depends on your level of extras cover, and benefits apply up to your annual limits. Because our fees for nib members follow nib’s guidelines, the difference between the fee and your rebate — the gap — stays smaller.
This applies across general and major dental at our practice: check-ups and cleans, fillings, x-rays, root canal treatment, dental implants, porcelain veneers, teeth whitening, Invisalign, wisdom teeth removal and emergency dental care.
*Your exact rebate depends on your nib policy and annual limits. We can give you the item numbers for any proposed treatment so you can confirm your benefit with nib before deciding, and you receive a written treatment plan with itemised costs before anything begins.
Dental Services for nib Members
Every service at our practice is available with your nib benefits — from six-monthly check-ups and cleans through to cosmetic dentistry, crowns and bridges and implant treatment, all under one roof in Sandgate.
If you need care urgently, we keep time available each day for urgent problems — phone early and we will advise on the next available appointment. Eligible children can also be seen under the Child Dental Benefits Schedule, bulk billed.
Other Health Funds
We are also a preferred provider for Westfund, HCF and TUH, and an HIF Choice Network provider. HICAPS on the spot claiming is available for Bupa, Medibank and all other major funds.

How do I book an appointment as a nib member?
Call 07 3269 2443 or book online at any time. Let our reception team know you are a nib member and bring your membership card to your appointment. We are open Monday to Friday 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, and 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month.
