Yes. Sandgate Bayside Dental is an HCF participating provider under the More for Teeth program, which is HCF’s current name for its no-gap dental network. If you have seen it called the Members’ Choice network, that is HCF’s older name for the same arrangement.

Eligible HCF members with extras cover receive 100 percent back on a range of diagnostic and preventive services each calendar year: one or two check-ups, scale and cleans, a fluoride treatment and mouthguards, subject to annual limits and waiting periods. Which services your policy includes depends on your level of cover, so check your product summary with HCF.

Bring your HCF membership card to your appointment. We process your claim on the spot through HICAPS, so your benefit is deducted before you pay. For covered More for Teeth services, eligible members have nothing to pay on the day, and there is no paperwork afterwards.

HCF pays a benefit toward general and major dental depending on your level of cover, and you pay the gap. You receive a written treatment plan with itemised costs and item numbers before treatment begins, so you can confirm your rebate with HCF first. Interest-free payment plans are available from 50 dollars per week.

Yes, please mention it when you book. Your More for Teeth entitlement depends on your policy and how much of your calendar-year allowance you have used, so telling us in advance means we can check what is covered before your appointment rather than afterwards.

We are also a preferred provider for nib, Westfund and TUH, and an HIF Choice Network provider. HICAPS on the spot claiming is available for all other major funds including Bupa and Medibank, so you can claim at reception regardless of your insurer.

We are at 74 Loudon Street, Sandgate, opposite Sandgate Town Hall, with a dedicated on-site car park. We are open Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, and on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Closed Sunday.
