Sandgate Bayside Dental has joined the HIF Choice Network — HIF’s dental network launched in 2026 to make preventative dental care more affordable. Eligible HIF members receive 100% back (no gap) on up to two preventative visits each year, including check-ups and cleans, at our clinic at 74 Loudon St, Sandgate.

Our practice has been caring for families across Sandgate, Brighton, Deagon, Bracken Ridge, Redcliffe, and North Brisbane since 1992 — and as a Choice Network provider, HIF members can now keep on top of their dental health with nothing to pay for covered preventative visits.

What the HIF Choice Network Covers

For eligible HIF members, the Choice Network provides:

• 100% back (no gap) on up to two visits per year
• Covering check-ups, cleans, and other selected preventative services*
• Claimed on the spot through HICAPS — nothing to pay for covered services
• Available with all dentists at our practice under our HIF agreement

*Eligibility, covered items, and visit limits are set by HIF under the Choice Network program and depend on your level of extras cover. Check your policy with HIF, or ask our front desk team — we can confirm your cover through HICAPS before any treatment begins. All other treatments are charged at our standard fees, with your normal HIF rebate claimable on the spot.

A check-up and clean every six months lets us catch small issues while they’re still small, saving you discomfort and cost later. The Choice Network is built around exactly this: removing the cost barrier so regular care is easy to keep up.

Your visit includes a comprehensive examination, professional clean, and personalised advice from our dentists. If we find anything that needs treatment, we’ll explain your options and provide a clear quote — there’s never any obligation.

Other Treatments & Payment Options

Treatments outside the Choice Network preventative services are charged at our standard fees, and you can claim your usual HIF rebate on the spot through HICAPS — you only pay the gap. To spread the cost of larger treatments, we offer interest-free payment plans through Afterpay, Zip, Humm, and Denticare from $50 per week.

Bulk billing is also available for eligible children under the Child Dental Benefits Schedule.

Have extras cover? Depending on your fund and level of cover, some or all of your check-up and clean may be covered — eligible HIF Choice Network members may pay nothing at all. Ask our team before your visit and we’ll confirm the option that leaves you with the lowest out-of-pocket cost.
